From video art inspired by inordinate 80's fashion to neo noir portraiture that can only come from the use of analog, Aaron Alpert brings retro to contemporary art.

Alpert started his career in high school learning the basics of photography in a darkroom class. Fascinated by the technique and the pursuit of the perfect image led him to study experimental filmmaking, earning him a BFA from the University of Wisconsin. After graduating he moved out to Los Angeles where he has been working professionally in the commercial photo industry for the past 8 years.

Aaron’s most recent projects include: presenting/hosting the pilot episode of the new YouTube series “Film Experiments With Friends”, launching a SkillShare class about buying cameras on Ebay and minting his first NFT video series on OpenSea.

Alpert lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
